Inspired by 'MEGAFOOT' a film about the dangers of mixing myth and science. When a team of scientists not only find Bigfoot himself, but then arm him to the teeth with cybernetic improvements to sell him as a war machine. Quite frankly a genius idea, which with only end in tears, blood, and more blood, and maybe some screaming.
Sadly, however this film has not been made yet(i), but there are a number of dedicated people collecting and creating for the cause. My giddy aunt it's been over a year since my last picture on this blog. This is mainly due to other non-cartoony projects, not because I was too drunk or too lazy, honest!

So I bring to you my latest creation and something of a self portrait. Let me explain. If you are an avid user of Facebook, or even just have an account, you may have noticed Bitstrips. An app that puts you and another into a one picture cartoon with caption. Don't get me wrong, the idea is genius, not as genius as that Jim'll Draw It bloke, possibly another reason for my lack of Windows Paint inspired doodles (blown completely out of the water.), but genius all the same. The problem came when I realised my friends were out of control, instead of the odd one a day or two there would be several every five minutes up on my timeline. Due to it's nature, you'd end up seeing alot of the same stuff as new people discovered the app. So you can see it got a tad boring, pretty fast.

This is my version which I drew and threw up in a form of protest. As you may have guessed the internet didn't listen and more and more seen to be coming. Maybe I should do a few more of my own with a bit more dark humour....

My plan is simple, but genius, if they give me money or free Chocolate Oranges then I will happily 'sell out' and place their name upon the work. I'd do anything for Chocolate Orange. Secondly the very original of this was created without Hansel and Gretel hold hands but as there was a Star Wars theme I thought it only fitting to edit it and have them hand in hand for obvious reasons.

That's right I support the mighty Queens Park Rangers, we all have our dark secrets. In recognition of the great derby defeat of Chelsea, I believe the score was One - Nil to the Super Hoops if any of you have forgotten!!! So what else could I have done but paid tribute to the club and team with a picture of our two mascots old and new, Jude The Cat on the left, Spark The Tiger on the right, showing the Chelsea mascot who's boss. In 2005 while at college I got an editing program and had no film to use on it. So to have a go, so to speak, I took a short comic strip I'd drawn a few years before and made it into a short cartoon. Ofcourse using Windows Paint to redraw the images. Now this was really for fun and just to muck about, so the animation itself is very crude. An animation that is something along the lines of 0.05 frames per second, it's that bad! As an excuse to get used to using the software I was happy with it. Sadly though, a few years back, I lost the film from my hard-drive and had no known copies about, until by chance I found a dusty DVD at the back of the book case. It's a lesson to us all: Always back up your stuff!!! I didn't want to touch the initial edit, though there is a lot I'd add or change, alot! The only thing I have updated are the credits and titles, mainly because of the production company logo image and title change. The music was created on a 'Concertmate370' with an unhealthy watch ratio and interest in the film 'Jaws'. All the sound effects are me - the sniffing, gargling etc. The narration is by a friend who agreed to read my paragraph, if that, of script. It is my pleasure to give you 'The Adventures Of SpaceFish' made way back in 2005.
